Clubs and Competition Teams
There are many different components that make up your university experience. While your academic are your top priority, it's also important to get involved in clubs and organizations while you attend Kansas State University. College and departmental clubs gives you the opportunity to learn and build lifelong skills outside of the classroom. While participating in these organizations, you have the ability to expand your network and build lasting friendships with fellow students and faculty members, as well as participate in professional activities which often lead to future career opportunities. Take advantage of the 50+ organizations and competition teams in the college or the 475+ organizations across the university.
K-State has a strong tradition of nationally competitive teams. Intercollegiate competition teams provide opportunities to apply classroom knowledge to real-life situations. Participation prepares students to be successful in their careers. Departments dedicate faculty time and resources to develop strong teams. Each year, at least one of K-State's competition teams wins a national championship. Placing at the national level is the norm for many of them.
